It was a tad hard to get the top part into vehicle postion, makes you feel like your gonna break it, but finally did it and no breakage lol now once i did it my 10 year old grabdson does it by himself. ;)

My son loves this but the only complaint is how hard it is to get the arms in place when changing to car and back to transformer character. We had to watch a YouTube video to figure it out. Kids definitely can't do that part on their own, but the rest of the transforming they can. Otherwise a really good purchase and pretty good quality. Priced kinda high but most transformer toys are quite expensive. It was smaller than I expected.
