I'm in love with the warmth! Too many blankets today heat in “Zones” warming upper body area more than extremities, it seems. My feet always freeze and I'm so toasty warm, like a cocoon. Planning on buying a 2nd one just in case this one ever fails. lol I had purchase two previous ones, different manufacturer, and all were useless. Ugh! I've had this Royalcraft for two chilly months and am quite happy with this heating blanket.

I bought the Royalcraft electric heated blanket for my 11 year old son. It gets really cold in his room at night. He was just piling on a ton of blankets but this is a much better option. The blanket heats up fast and it heats up evenly unless it's folded in on itself. If one part of the blanket is folded over and touching itself, that spot will get extra warm. For safety, try to prevent this from occurring. It has 10 heat settings and gets VERY warm. The highest setting we use is 6. The material is very soft and cozy. The blanket is fairly thick, you can feel the wires if you try but it's not noticeable otherwise. The cord is really long, which is great as my kid sleeps on the top bunk of the bed. I wish the controller was positioned closer to the blanket instead of the middle of the cord, but it's not really a big issue. It does have a 12 hour timer but the controller is a bit wonky. When we first turned it on, it was set to 12 hours BUT it doesn't look like a ‘12' on the screen. There was a large ‘1' and a small ‘2', like in a math equation. Only after we pushed the ‘- timer' button did we realize what was going on. So definitely test out the controller a lot when you get it so you understand how it works. It's not super confusing, just a bit different. The price is great and I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a heated blanket! It even shipped and arrived early.
