I read all the reviews before buying this mattress and since they were mostly positive, I was all-in. I cannot say enough about this mattress in terms of comfort. I haven't slept this well in years! We got this as a temporary sleep arrangement since we normally sleep in a king, but we are now going to purchase the same thing in 2 twin-xl's for our permanent room. Also, we have not experienced any issues with sitting on the sides to tie our shoes!

I didn't think much of a bed in a box BUT it's not bad at all. Packaged, this bed fits in the backseat of a sedan. I got it in and out of the car by myself. It's not easy and two people are definitely better but it can be done if you ate your Wheaties. I would let it puff up for a day or two if you can before using it. Then it's a normal type bed!
