This is my first aftershave lotion but I've been using proraso soap for years. It has a cooling sensation when I put it on my face, and doesn't burn at all. overall my girlfriend says my face feels a little softer, and we both love how it smells. Hard to describe, but it's definitely masculine without smelling like a frat boy. A very mature, sophisticated scent really. It's like a thin lotion, and I was a fan after the first application.
