Alpine is Carefree’s newest generation slideout awning. Our goal was to create a highly efficient, practical and easier to install slideout cover that works on even the longest slide rooms (super-slides) at an a affordable value. With "super-slides extending almost the full length of the RV sidewall, the need to protect and shade the entire room along with preventing the large canopy from billowing while in transit has become increasingly challenging. The Alpine’s exclusive Billo-Stop inertia lock eliminates this concern by automatically engaging when the fabric attempts to billow, securely holding the awning in place during travel. This feature is unique to Carefree awnings as competitive slideout awnings do not feature any sort of anti-billowing protection. The larger brackets on the Alpine improve stability and operation while also eliminating the need for additional brackets for the larger slide rooms. As with all Carefree awnings, automotive inspired aesthetics and styling are essential and the Alpine features end caps that enclose all of the internal hardware giving it a clean, finished look when it is installed.
