This just may be the perfect laptop!

This is a very versatile laptop that you can count on. It has a beautiful design nice size it's not too big or not too small. The graphics are beautiful and this is a fast computer. The price is amazing for what you get. You can choose between how much hard drive and RAM you need and the price between the three is not bad at all. It's been about 10 years since I've had a new computer and this one is going to take me a long way I'm very excited to learn everything that's packed into this beautiful laptop. also HP is a company that I've always been able to depend on and it was happy to find something that fit my needs exactly!

Not a Fan

Not a fan. The screen quality is horrible. At first I thought it was a contrast setting issue. After spending a LOT of time googling and trying to find/fix it, I realized there is NO contrast setting, it is apparently the way the screen is meant to be. I have to open %26 tilt my screen all the way back to a weird angle just to get a good contrast. The computer is lighter than my 14" smaller one. I now know it to be the cheap keyboard. I have always been an HP pavilion 360 fan but this was on sale, so I rolled the dice. When my last one died, I decided to go with this HP (which by the way, doesn't seem to have a real name). I am not a fan at all. It would not upload all my old info during set up. I have had to remember or reset all my old passwords %26 recreate all my shortcuts %26 bookmarks. It took me forever to set google as my browser. You need to know what Windows 11 "S" code is BTW- I had no clue, so I had to learn that. Needless to say , it's a safety thing that doesn't allow you to just download what you want. I am still trying to learn where everything is and I'm frustrated. I am not tech savvy, so for me, this has been a real headache. It has always been such a breeze in the past w/my other HP pavillions. This was such a pain. I even tried to do a factory reset and start the "new" process over. Unfortunately, I couldn't even figure out that. By now, I had set up my private accounts, so I don't want to risk returning this stupid thing and my info be out everywhere. At this point I will just fuss about it for the next 5 yrs as it seems nothing lasts past the 5 yr mark anyway. I am so upset with HP, might just switch to Dell next time. This is a piece of crap, albeit cheap. You get what you pay for
