Dell - Inspiron 3650 Desktop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 1TB HD - Silver

I bought this unit "off the shelf" at my local Walmart. I'm using a Vizio flat screen TV as my monitor (also off the shelf at Walmart) by way of HDMI and the graphics are stunning! The folks at Walmart were fun and helpful. The ONLY issue I've encountered, was with the warranty from Dell. The box clearly states, "MINIMUM ONE YEAR WARRANTY", but when I registered the unit I discovered that is a lie! The one year starts from the day its shipped to the store, making my warranty only about seven months! Hours on the phone with Dell couldn't get them to adjust it, so I consider the extended warranty from Walmart a MUST. The vertical DVD mentioned in other reviews is not an issue for me as my unit lays on it's side for space saving purposes - the tray then is horizontal-and the unit works just fine! All in all, its fast and super quiet.

I was a little hesitant about spending an extra $100 to get the faster i5 processor, but I'm glad I spent the money. This computer is fast, and I can do all my normal daily tasks faster than before. I'm not into heavy gaming, but the games I do run are seamless. No hiccups at all
