This is a five-star lamp! With the included bulb, the lamp gives off a good amount of brightness. Congratulations re. the finish of the wooden base and the sensitive on/off switch with the thumb groove. This great buy even comes with a USB port, so handy!

Like the Maxwells
I first purchased the Maxwell Shelf to replace a hideous floor lamp. The bedroom didn't really have good lighting. When I put that lamp in place I couldn't just stay with the lamps that I had for the night stands so I purchased 2 of the Maxwell table lamp version. I installed smart light bulbs that work with Alexa. I really like how the lamps look. I love the lighting that these lamps now bring to the bedroom along with the ability to simply tell Alexa how much light I want to turn on. Oh and the charging port got rid of an issue I had with too many things plugged into my electrical outlets. Very happy that I made these purchases.

Great, likeable and sturdy lamps that fit the sofa end tables in our home like a glove. They give off a nice bright glow and are a pleasure to look at. Ive two minor complains LOL! 1. During assembly, one of the two lamps we bought had a seam on the front part so we had to rotate it. In general, the lamps could do with some more weight as the feet don't grip and they can slide. You may want to buy stick on pads with a better grip. Not an issue for us, as we're controlling them
