Wonderful, well-crafted bird house! My darling Carolina Wren sleeps on the edge of the portico every night. I'm hoping as the weather gets cooler, he'll take cover in this bird box, which I installed about 2 feet from his preferred spot. The box is finely sanded but unfinished, which is what wrens prefer.
