It was between the Curved TV or this model. I was able to set it up myself (75 yrs) and it was easy except this is a little heavier than thought and I should have had someone help me. After getting all the plugs in place and figuring out a numberless remote I can't get enough. I am a huge Basketball fan and this lets me get close and personal with the teams. The 4K UHD is outstanding the features easy and I could loose the Roku for most of my preferred apts' i.e Netflix etc. I would buy this again and I have already recommended it to a few of my friends

I like everything about the TV, now that I've acclimated to using the Bluetooth remote control, which automatically pairs with the TV when you power it on the first time. I did not like the remote at first, because it has so few buttons, but it has many redeeming qualities which have endeared me to it. It works through walls (although this reduces the range, of course), is non-directional, and has exceptional range - capable of reaching across the largest rooms. The picture quality is all you would expect from Samsung 4k - in a word, fantastic. The first power-up takes you through the initial setup routine, so the wireless connection with your router is simple, as is selecting your favorite broadcast (Netflix, hulu, YouTube, etc.) The light weight belies its high quality, and makes it easier to mount on a wall bracket. I can find no fault with this fine TV, now that I've grown to really appreciate its thoughtful features and design. Way to go, Samsung! :)))
