SuperHandy Electric Mobility Scooter for Seniors - 500W, 48V, Aluminum Frame, 300lb Capacity

I thought my 3-year-old, 3-wheel SuperHandy scooter was fantastic after I took it on a week-long trip to Washington DC, around museums a mile from my hotel, and in a bookstore with boxes in the isle, I amazed the owner as the first scooter who managed to get around without getting stuck. It was versatile, durable, and Super Handy. Three years later, when I needed a scooter for my wife too, I researched long and hard because there were so many new models out there. Having big wheels with suspension springs on the front and a good experience with SuperHandy service in the past sold me on this model. The price on Walmart was several hundred dollars below anywhere else, so I ordered it. It came today. I put it together in a half hour. We just went for its first ride-about 2 miles on a boardwalk. Bumps seem to have vanished. The extra cushion we used on the seat of the old model was unneeded on this one. We could go faster than the speed walkers, but not too fast. It was superbly stable and easily maneuverable in tight spaces. The big surprise was that it was actually easier to put in the back of our minivan, because the fourth wheel and longer wheelbase made it easier to lift the front first and back later than on the lighter 3-wheel model. In another 5 years there might be a better deal on the market. But I can't imagine you'll find one today.
