For a plastic, lit nutcracker, he's as shown in the picture. It even came with the batteries. I must not have read the description correctly because I was surprised that there is also music that plays. You can easily shut off and on with the button located at the front of his base.

i liked my nutcrackers but they are used 1 of them arms will not move and the other 1 peeling where off the inside hand batteries was in 1 already that a shame they where not so cheat to send mevdamage product for the full price couldn't turn them on for christmas since only 1 moved it arms and holes are in 1 on the inside hands
