Two Similar speeds

I use this table fan in my bedroom at night. My headboard has a shelf and this is where I put the fan. I picked this one because the controls are on the FRONT of the fan so I can just reach up at night and turn it on without having to really wake-up. The fan has two speeds, high and higher. I would have liked a low and high or medium and high but this works. It's not too noisy either. Appears easy to clean the plastic blades because the cage that protects a person's fingers is not screwed on it has little clips. I hate having to deal with tiny screws when I want to clean a fan. So, I am pleased with this one.

Junk.

They changed the design, but kept the same model number. The old 40W model was great. This one, 30/32 W is junk. Moves much less air. Tilt requires a screwdriver, and even with that it does not work. Fan blade even had a divot from original mold, not shipping damage. Very poor quality item. Too bad, because the previous version of that model number was great. This one is pure garbage.

Missing part.

When this fan arrived it was missing a part they call a SPINNER, this is the part with left hand threads that holds the blade assembly on the shaft. I sent the company, BRENTWOOD APPLIANCES an email requesting to let me know if they would mail me the part or if I should return the fan to Wal-mart, I received no answer. I would never order a Brentwood product again, nor would I recommend their product to anyone. This does not reflect badly on Wal-mart as the box was factory sealed.
