its the same as the small 1.2oz packages but you get 7.4oz for less than the price of 4 of the smaller packages. so you get 2.8oz free, much better value for your money. half a package is perfect for a large crockpot of chili, so each pack makes two batches

Great chili

I use this in every pot of chili that I make. I add garlic and other spices and this. I used to buy it in a plastic container that is no longer available. The large package is a great substitute. My chili always gets compliments and this is the reason.
