I was pleasantly surprised at how durable this is! It's a little heavy but that's because it's solid and will stand up strong. I think it looked nicer than in the picture. Pay attention to the depth of the steps. It may be too narrow for a "taller" pet. I bought this for my cat. She's 15 and set in her ways so refused to use it at first, but if you're patient and show your pet how to use it, they should warm up to it. Also, thanks for being good pet parents to help them by getting these stairs! ❤️
