Copper-Green Brown Wood Preservative is a great product for its intended application. Have used it for nearly 20 years for fence poles. Because it is available in a rich brown, I also use it for above ground applications, too, such as my log storage shed and porch, applying it with either brush or a hand-pump sprayer. It does have a powerful scent that lasts for some time. Although the cost through Walmart.com (seller Paint Supply) was a bit higher than I'm used to paying, I think that was compensated for by the free delivery, saving me a 2-hour round-trip to purchase the product in-store.
