I decided to purchase two of these despite all of the horrible reviews posted. Turns out, they are actually pretty good rocking chairs. It wasnt hard for me to assemble. I did have to use a power drill for four of the screws but it wasnt hard at all. The chairs look great and are very sturdy and nicely finished. Im not sure if I just got the good batches or what but, I recommend these by far.

rock-a-bye-baby

This took some time to construct :-( and required quite a bit of force to get the screws in place. A few pilot holes required a re drill to allow easier screw placement. Once I finally contracted this lovely chair, the care instruction advised for outdoor use to a""add"" a protective seal to all the wood... I was like EVEN MORE WORK????
