Post Premier Protein Chocolate Almond Cereal 9 oz

I tried this cereal both dry and with milk, and it definitely delivers a strong first impression. Eating it straight out of the box, it's very crunchy, so crunchy that it can kind of hurt your teeth. However, once you pour some milk over it and let it sit for a couple of minutes, the texture becomes much more enjoyable. It softens just enough while still keeping a nice crunch. Flavor-wise, it has a real chocolatey taste. It doesn't taste artificial or watered down — the chocolate flavor is rich and satisfying in every spoonful. It's sweet, but not overly sweet, which makes it easy to keep eating without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, it's a solid chocolate cereal, especially if you're patient enough to let it soak in milk for a bit before digging in.

I've been disappointed in most protein food products over - if it's not the texture, it's the awful artificial flavor or the sickening sweetness often failing to mask the protein aftertaste. Premier Protein's shakes have overall done me well, and this cereal kept up with that reputation. The texture was on point and it didn't get soggy after 5 seconds. The chocolate flavor is legit and doesn't taste like chemicals, and goes well with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. As for aftertaste or stomach issues I can get with protein? Nada. Zilch. Getting protein in can be close to impossible some days, but I'll definitely be grabbing more of this.
