There aren't any instructions on how to pair it but there's a little button on the bottom of the back. You push that with a pin at the same time as you move the throttle to the “brake” and it should pair.

Love this product

I can't believe there isn't any review for this remote. This remote is good. It's very reliable. You pair it one time and it will stay pair it goes up to 10 feet away from the board. I have had maybe two problems with it not connecting but just playing around with it. I got it to connect I'll give this product 4 stars just because it's not really that durable. It can take a couple falls some major Falls but overall the battery will disconnect and if you don't have a soldering pen, you're stuck buying a whole new one.

Product came with packing open and goods damaged. It was also a late delivery. I tried to contact customer service for Walmart and the vendor and it goes no where. So now I have a remote I paid for that was open, late, damaged and doesn't connect.
