THESE FROM NUTRICOST HAVE NO ADDITIVES. THE REASON I BOUGHT KERATIN IS I HEARD THAT'S WHAT FINGERNAILS ARE MADE OF. I WAS BORN WITH THIN, SLOW GROWING NAILS WHICH BROKE OFF. SO I GOT THE KERATIN, BUT ONE A DAY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING, HOWEVER IT CAUSED MY THINNING EYE LASHES TO GROW BACK! THEN THOUGHT TO TAKE 1 TWICE DAILY. THAT STARTED NAILS TO GROW BUT THEY WERE STILL BRITTLE. I ADDED BIOTIN AND THAT DID IT. NAILS ARE STILL NOT AS HARD AS I'D LIKE BUT THEY ARE GETTING THERE. MARLENE ><>
