manual could be a little clearer

works great and is very quiet. the setup instructions were pretty confusing in some places, and the illustrations were so small they were of no help. I ended up getting the manual online and then blowing up the pix so I could what they were talking about. the unit itself is first rate, based on my 12 hours of use so far.

Really great and cold!!

The noise level is fine on most settings except on the energy saving mode. It rattles like something is wrong. I had it shipped to store and maybe they dropped it? Also in this mode it comes on for a few seconds then off for a few seconds and repeats. It does cool really great for my 10 by 12 room. It has great air force and is really cold! So over all compared to other brands that I have this is my favorite!

Replaced failed Central AC Unit..

Quiet compared to one of those portable AC units on wheels.. Entire area here is 550 SQ Ft. This unit is designed for 550 sq ft. So far the air is much drier, and at the lowest setting , F1 Fan speed, and temp set on 75 degree, and cooling, outdoor temps are close to 100 and humid, and the furthest from this unit bedroom, it is 79 degree.. Do not rely on the instructions, go to you tube, find a comparable unit and follow..
