I bought this item but never got to assemble. Because upon opening box, the first thing I see is broken glass. I blame the delivery driver whom was not strong enough to carry the box and accidentally dropped it outside his van. I didn't think anything of it until I opened the box. On any note, there was fragile on box but maybe have also glass on box so delivery person sent to deliver is stronger or something lol So I returned it immediately next day. Giving five stars because my refund was quick and I appreciate it.

The desk is large and a good price. That being said, the parts were the worst part and made assembly difficult. Some parts were missing the number stickers that identify them and some parts had duplicate numbers so I didn't know which was the correct board to use because there were two labeled the same number but were different sizes and there only was supposed to be one board with that number. The instructions skip steps and I had to look at the finished diagram to figure it out. I'm no rookie to assembling furniture and this desk should have been under 2 hrs to put together. Because I had to decipher where things were supposed to go with trial and error, it took me 6 hrs. I felt like I was solving a puzzle the entire time.
