Don't let the number of pieces discourage. The instructions were spot on and the vanity came together so beautifully. My teen absolutely loves it! The reviews were right this takes time to put together. But it was not damaged when shipped. Besides the directions could be better. we got it together the drawers slide smoothly. It was a gift we took it over partially assembled and finished it where it was going to stay. On the heavy side and wouldn't want to carry it upstairs in one piece. Grand daughters loved it
