Great for tenderizing meat!
I bought this for someone as a gift. He loves it. It does a great job on tenderizing meat. He has used it on chicken and pork chops and steak. Only think is you really have to give it a good cleaning after each use. This was not a surprise as he figured this would have to be done. You just have to have the patience to clean it after each use. It is very heavy also, commercial grade. He leaves it right on his counter all the time. He's looking for a cover for it like you would cover a small appliance, toaster etc.
