These notebooks are my main tool for keeping track of automobile fuel and mileage and maintenance information, with a pen clipped inside, and I often give them as gifts to others who get a new car for this reason. They are also handy to tuck into jacket pockets as a weatherproof backup for miscellaneous note capture, and when traveling as a durable catch-all. As convenient as a 3x5" index card, but more durable and helpful for single-subject reference.
