I like this coffee maker and want to love it. It's sleek looking and works well. My problem is that the feature to brew smaller amounts is pointless. It brews whatever amount is in the reservoir. The only way to limit it is to put in less water. The small batch button is pointless. But it does brew a good cup, as does a million other makers.

There is no permanent filter included with coffee make. One has to buy it separately! One would not know this until the instructions are read. At least the carafe is included. Hooray! I am still working on getting the brew right-only have had the coffee maker a few days. So far the coffee maker is OK. Just very disappointed that the permanent filter is not included.

Brews really slow. The carafe is a twist off lid not a thumb press. The water tank is a slight hassle to remove and replace each time. My Dunkin coffee did come out flavorful but equally so with any new coffee maker. Save the $ and buy a Mr Coffee maker
