Best Hiking Blanket

From some reviews, I guess I was expecting a thin, small cheaply made stadium blanket made to watch middle school football. I regularly check out the 1 stars first and watch for common complaints, before I read the better ratings. However, I dont know what some people expected...This is exactly as described. One side is made of water resistant and windproof material, while the opposite is a soft sherpa. It is not thick, nor was it described as a thick bed blanket. It is not thin either. I am 5'3" and it swallows me whole. I wanted a waterproof type blanket for hiking/camping instead of using a sleeping bag. This fits the bill! It folds, and then rolls down to be secured witha sturdy velcro. It does have a handle, but I will be strapping it to my pack. It seems to be constructed very well. I love it.
