RTIC travel bottles and mugs are fabulous in addition to being less expensive than their famous competitor. Sometimes, though, I cherish an earlier model and don't move so easily with the times. This item is one of the old line, recently discontinued, made with an inner lining of stainless steel instead of their new designs still insulated but lined with ceramic. The new items do work the same way (WELL insulated for hot or cold use, sturdy, leak-proof and convenient), but stainless steel is still the gold standard of linings for me. So I've been grabbing these older ones wherever I can. A real winner!

It was exactly what he likes in a water bottle and thrilled that it keeps his water cold all day long. The handle and flip lid for drinking works great and easy to use. While it's too large to fit any of the bottle holders in our vehicles, I'm making him a go around, so it won't fall over while he's driving.

I chose the black color so it wouldn't show dirt as much, but then I remembered he lives in Florida.
