I was not sure how this bulb would work into my dimmable lamp. The normal light we have in here is a different size, but this one fit well, even though it was not the ideal shape that I had intended for this standing lamp. The light itself creates a great light. The light that come from the lamp is well lit and offers great focused lighting without any bouncing features, that similar light has. It does not create a glare or excess shine when reading from the light. There are many other lights on the market that do this, making it difficult to read in the evening sometimes. The dimmable light works well too. My lamp simply turns only in two directions of the dimming feature, full in and dim. This bulb works great with this feature. It also works great in my regular recessed lighting socket that offers a full sliding dimmable feature. The material of this light is unlike any other light ai have had before, it is very sturdy and very light weight at the same time. I had not heard of this brand before, but it works way better than the brands that I am used to using. This light was a happy surprise from my norm. I will buy more of these in the future.
