4moms mamaRoo, bounceRoo rockaRoo Reversible Insert Plush

My daughter absolutely loves her Mamaroo, but when we first got it, she was far too small and kept sliding down in the seat, no matter how tight the seatbelt was. I found the Newborn Insert, and installed it as soon as it arrived. She’s much more comfortable, and almost instantly settles down whenever I put her in the swing. I’m happy to say that she doesn’t slide down in the seat anymore either, and now we can sit her upright so she can see us walking around downstairs.

I wish I knew when I registered for the MamaRoo, that I should register for the newborn insert as well. It was not until my son was born and I set him in it that I realized he was not yet supported the way he should be and the insert was a necessity. Personally, I would have preferred, whether I got this as a gift or purchased it on my own, to pay a bit extra and have the newborn insert included in the original purchase as an accessory. Instead, I had to order it and wait for it to arrive before using my MamaRoo. In the grand scheme of things, not a big deal, but not something I wanted to think about while I was trying to manage a newborn as a first time mom. Once the insert arrived, my son was able to fit comfortably in the MamaRoo while being supported appropriately. Perhaps there is a way that people can be informed of the need for the insert when registering or purchasing the MamaRoo, whether in the store or online.
