In this intensely terrifying horror film, eight explorers who discover a new cave system in Central Asia find themselves trapped and hunted by an unknown presence. When the group's two guides are mysteriously killed off, the members of the team find themselves caught in a fight for their lives as they desperately seek to escape the labyrinths of the cave. With two key members of the team dead, the explorers desperately try to escape and find that their way out has been inexplicably sealed shut. They're trapped inside and the only way to continue is to go deeper into the cave. Miles beneath the surface and surrounded by labyrinths of rock, sand, mud and water, they embark on a fight for their lives hunted by an unknown presence and threatened by divisions from within their own ranks. They charge at a breakneck pace to a frightening and thoroughly startling conclusion.
