And if you have children together, the economic discrimination is even greater. Children are growing up in the UK without one of their parents... Because the UK parent is not deemed wealthy enough to have a foreign spouse. The 2012 Family Immigration Law breaches our human rights under Article 8 of the European Union Convention on Human Rights. In the face of this violation, extraordinary people in the UK and across the globe are doing everything they can to keep their love alive across borders, mountains and oceans.
