This utility combination pipe and bench vise has a 360-degree swivel base and mounts to a workbench. The 360-degree swivel base features 2 lockdowns. Hand-tightening the lock knob on the base secures its position. The tool is designed to help prevent pipe marring, crushing, or bending while you work on it. This tool Conforms to Fed. Spec. COMBINATION VISE: The Yost Vises 34C 6-inch utility combination pipe and bench vise are made from PSI Tensile Ductile Iron body parts. It has hardened, replaceable steel pipe jaws as well as hardened steel flat serrated jaws and continuous rolled thread on the main screw. The pipe jaws are set back to allow for the machinist's vise use.,TECHNICAL SPECS: Jaw Width 6" (15.24 cm), Jaw Opening 10" (25.4 cm), Throat Depth 7.5" (19.05 cm), Min Pipe Capacity 0.25" ( cm), Max Pipe Capacity 6" (15.24 cm).,SWIVEL BASE: Interlocking swivel base with 360-degree motion and 2 lockdowns.,HOW TO USE: Make sure vise is securely mounted to the workbench and the swivel base lock is secure. Open the vise by turning the vise handle counterclockwise. Place item between the serrated jaws. Close the vise by turning the vise handle clockwise until the item is snug in the serrated jaws, continue to tighten until you can no longer move item. Don't over tighten as this may damage item and or the vise.
