A killer of a book.

Excellent story about a mountain from America's past. No where for the mountain man today. The story helps bring you back in time. Good read

Much different than the movie.

I think any information that you have that is only word of mouth, rumors or just made up makes it hard to trust, but I do think this is as close as you cam get to understanding the Mountain Men and the "Crow Killer". Interesting read, found it enjoyable and recommend it to those into the Mountain Men stories.
