What a combination of hard-shell, outside laptop compartment, extra-small size (less than 20") , and style this carry-on is! Just what I was looking for for a less-than-a-week business trip. The compartment is so thick I could throw in a laptop charger, file of paper, and standard-size bible, on top of my laptop. I have read a couple of reviews where people said the compartment takes up so much space it compromises the size of the main trunk, which is true. This suitcase must be designed with a business mindset. However, one may still place clothes, shoes, and odds-and-ends in the compartment and still have access to the laptop pocket on the inside. For me to be able to put away my laptop in the suitcase to the boarding gate and from the airplane cabin, and carry a smaller, lighter purse through the airport is just excellent.
