cuts on book/cover sheet when opened

Just received; Book overalll seems fine, However, cover sheet and book binding has a slice in it..appears to be from a box cutter, etc. I did not use anything sharp to open and actually opened the short (top/bottom ) edge of packaging, so obviously was shipped that way. Will contact for replacement.
