This whitewashed wood flooring is a must in the modern home. The grain comes through to really give it that farmhouse feel. I really put this to the test as far as liquids and scratches. First thing I did was drop heavy tools on the floor to see if there would be any "holes" or "puncture" marks. There were none! Secondly, I literally "dug" into the plank with a tool. While this is something you would never do, I wanted to make sure it would hold up to shoes (sometimes you get a gravel in the sole), as well as dog-cat-pet nails scratching up the floor. I have shown the photo below of where I dug into the flooring. Lastly, the water test. I left a pool of standing water on the floor for 24 hours to see if it would damage the floor or leave a water ring. You can see it passed all of these tests with flying colors. Their website even shows you that you can use this flooring on walls to have a beautiful accent wall. The planks snap together and come apart with ease and is very easy to install.

Firstly, it shipped quickly and the packaging was very well done. There's a transparent opening so you can see the tile but it's in plastic and nothing gets scratched. These are bigger than I thought. They are definitely bigger than the standard laminate tiles at big box stores. This made installation much quicker and easier. They lock in so there was no issue with laying them out evenly (another plus). Cutting was very simple my husband used his work knife but I'm sure a strong hand with a box cutter could cut with a little effort. Don't be fooled though these aren't thin. They come with thick foam padding and I noticed a huge difference in the warmth of the floor (energy savings!). The color was very true to the online photos and it looks very vibrant in person. We used them in our kitchen and cleaning has been a breeze. Our toddler has spilled juice, icee, syrup and marinara sauce and all of it wiped off super easily. I clean it daily with a swifter and mop it twice a week and it holds up very well to the water. It does not absorb anything and does not scratch. I am not looking into a matching set for the laundry room and some for the bathroom. I would definitely recommend these for floors that get a lot of traffic, moisture, spills etc…
