This is the perfect fit for us. We needed to get attention at a conference and I think this will do it for us. Love the height. Glad I didn't buy the bigger one. This one is the perfect size, quality great, everything. Can't wait to use it.

We bought this stand for our student organization to use, primarily, for a banner at a university involvement fair. The fair is quite crowded and we wanted something to stand over the masses of people and catch the eye. While the banner wasn't the sole reason, it definitely helped us in getting over double the sign-ups this year compared to the last. The stand itself seems quite well-built and stands solidly, although I had a minor panic attack when the stand arrived just a couple of days before the fair and it would not lock into place at full extension. One of the pins seemed to be misaligned and wouldn't pop into place to lock, though some disassembly and percussive maintenance did fix that in the end. Other than that brief issue, I have had no issues with this stand. I particularly like the horizontal arm that holds the banner extended since it allows us to use the banner even in no-wind conditions like indoors, making it far more versatile than a simple flagpole.
