I bought the 4-pack of the 14 x 20 filters for the first time, instead of buying the singles. They were shipped to me in very sturdy box and arrived undamaged on my porch. The box was difficult to open, which is the only negative. These filters fit tightly and work well for me on two of my three air returns, usually for one to three months, depending on the time of year.

Good low cost filter to change often
This is a low cost Merv 5 (out of 16) filter, I change it about every five weeks during our Colorado heating season. My theory for filter maintenance is to use low cost filters and change theme often. The furnace runs fine (moves plenty of air) with this filter and a 5 week change cycle seems to work well.
