This Mainstays heats extremely well! As it is a 1100W vs 1000W. A total plus the knob settings remain visible, not washing or wearing off like other single burners. Boils fast, cooks hard boiled eggs fast. Be careful not to burn your food because once it is hot I've turned down to 1 or 2 temp, so stay there with it or your hamburger will burn! This single burner far exceeds many other single burners I have purchased in the past. Totally exceeds value and quality of other more expensive ones that I've purchased in the past!!

Best hot plate I ever used

I've been using hot plates for the past four or five years and I have bought many but this one has set the bar. It is the best hot plate I have ever used. It's sturdy the coils don't shift around when you cook on them. It heats extremely well, and you can adjust the temperature at ease with the knob. Highly recommended to anyone cooking in any type of situation buy this hot plate. It's very worth the money and then some
