Team America: World Police (Blu-ray)

Where to start? The sound quality is fantastic. Special effects, background music, musical scores, all masterfully produced. The image quality is jaw dropping. The attention, to detail, lighting and complexity of scenes is inspirational. This is nothing short of a work of art. I find this work the funniest movie I have seen. Especially if you are familiar with the similarly produced "Thunderbirds" series and movies that used a less sophisticated version of marionettes as actors. Some scenes are literally "Laugh Out Loud funny".* I previously had the original released DVD version of this movie and found this 2.35:1 Blu-ray upgrade absolutely worth every penny.** * Occasionally crude adult humour some may find offensive. Contains some very low brow humour. ** Current viewing system includes a 205" 1:2.40 1.0 screen with Constant height set-up via a digital scaler and external anamorphic lens. Sound system includes extensive bass traps, active crossovers, and 27 speakers each with it's own amplifier. Not all Blue-ray movies look or sound good on this system. This movie shines and rocks.
