These coins contain silver, Not in circulation.

Unless you already have 1948-1964 quarters in hand this folder will be of little use to collectors looking for coins in circulation. Starting in 1965 much of the U. S. coinage was debased by substituting nickle and copper to replace the precious metal of silver. It appears the banks and knowlegeable collectors have effectively removed all the silver coinage from circulation. The old silver quarters are currently worth more than their 25 cent face value. Good luck finding one.
