Not possible to Assemble

The screws to attach the stand to the base dont fit because the holes are in different places. Heck they give you 4 screws, 2 for each side, but the stand piece has only 1 hole in the center of each stand piece, while the base board has 2 on each side. Im going to see if i can drill a new hole in the base, but overall very inconvenient that it can't be assembled without modification.

Good piece for what I needed just not happy with how the piece arrived. First just placed into a plastic bag. The item was absolutely filthy. Covered in dust and dirt. Scratches all over and wood was chipped in multiple places.
