Good for DIY.
Does the job. Built sturdy. Works well for small DIY jobs. I used 4x12 drywall sheets, over 40pcs. I have never used one before but did not let me down. Lifting was not as smooth as I had hoped but you get great control of placing the drywall where you want it. Used on 8.5 foot ceiling and all walls no problem. It pops and creeks while lifting which sounds odd but it is from the metal cable being stretched around the hoist as you crank it up. When the extension engages it drops slightly maybe a half inch. You get what you pay for. This lift can be used for vertical or horizontal applications there is no angle settings like you will find on more expensive units. Seems to be exactly the same as what you would find at harbour freight.
