NuMax SXL31 Pneumatic 3-in-1 16-Gauge and 18-Gauge 2-1/2" Nailer / Stapler

I was sent this item free of charge for my honest review. I will begin with saying I'm a tool-gal. I was raised by a carpenter/fix everything father who taught me everything I know and taught me a love of TOOLS! This NuMax SXL31 nail/staple gun is a great asset to my tool closet. It is very sturdy. Made very well. I hooked it up to my air compressor and was surprised at the ease of use. My ONLY complaint is that this product did NOT come with any sample brads, nails, or staples. I have purchase a lot of tools in my day and, usually, these types of products come with sample sizes of all the products to use with them. Example: Automatic drill/screwdrivers come with different tips and some even come with screws, etc. to use right when you open them up. I can say I was disappointed these did not come with samples. Since I didn't have a nail gun before, I had to stop, run to the hardware store, make sure I got the proper size for the nail gun, then go back home, hook it all up and try it. That was the ONLY disappointing thing about this product. I would highly recommend this to any guy or girl who is interested in a good quality nail/stapler gun. Remember, you need an air compressor for this to work. It gets a two thumbs up from me!!

It is funny because the ones at the woodshop are already set-up for you. So, it took me time to read the finer points of using this brad-finish nailer. The NuMax SXL31 3-in-1 1816 Gauge Brad/Finish Nailer and Stapler came with an easy-to-read instruction so it did not take me long to set this up at home. The NuMax SXL31 3-in-1 18/16 Gauge Brad/Finish Nailer and Stapler is easy to load and operate – switching from nails to staples is a cinch. For me, this nailer gun is lightweight and easy to handle. The NuMax SXL31 3-in-1 1816 Gauge Brad/Finish Nailer and Stapler is not a compact nailer but it did not feel clunky or somewhat awkward to use. It has enough power and accuracy to drive in brad nails or staples. Unfortunately, this brad-finish nailer came in the box alone. This is not a nailer kit. The NuMax SXL31 3-in-1 1816 Gauge Brad/Finish Nailer and Stapler doesn't come with compression hose, brad nails, or staples. But what you get is a solid piece of tool that is ready to go straight out of the box. If operating at home, you will need a compressor (70-110 psi recommended) and most importantly, safety goggles, dust mask, and ear protection. To be honest, the NuMax SXL31 3-in-1 1816 Gauge Brad/Finish Nailer and Stapler is a very versatile brad-finish nailer. You can do all your trim work with this nailer. For me, the main use for the NuMax SXL31 3-in-1 1816 Gauge Brad/Finish Nailer and Stapler would be for woodworking. I try to keep this nailer in top shape – it is my only go-to brad nailer. I took this once to woodworking class and so far, when I tried it and my class instructor tried it, I heard nothing but positive comments. They said the NuMax SXL31 3-in-1 18/16 Gauge Brad/Finish Nailer and Stapler is probably the best you can get without spending on high-end, name brand nailers. I believe the NuMax SXL31 3-in-1 18/16 Gauge Brad/Finish Nailer and Stapler is the perfect brad-finish nailer to add to my woodworking tools. I am completely satisfied and I recommend this to all.
