This item was obtained as part of the Vine project. It was easy to setup and one of the easiest devices to pair to my Samsung Galaxy phone via bluetooth. The app was also found in the Google Play store, which is where I like to go exclusively for "safer" apps. This is my first modern scale, as all of the others I've been using for decades have been the mechanical type. This one was much lighter, though it seemed very durable. It's 11"X11"x1", made with very attractive and tasteful black tempered glass with silver accents (sensors). The weight is slightly more than 3 lbs. or, officially, 1.4 kg. The decades old scale it will replace is 4 lbs, but more of a pain to move around, due to its bulk. Setup was easy. I really appreciated the large numbers for weight on the face of the scale. My eyes aren't horrible, but even with my distances glasses, figuring out how much I weighed by lines and marker on the old scales' dials didn't work very well. Without having someone else lean over and look at the dial (and who wants to do that, unless you know you've lost a lot of weight) was pretty much a ballpark determination. I could tell where I stood, give or take about 7 lbs. The digital readout on the Inevifit was a distinct step forward. I also like fact that the bigger readout allows me to get my grandcats' weights and that of other objects (like the old scale) by measuring my weight with and without the cats in my arms. (No cats were harmed in the production of this review.) I can't tell you how accurate it is compared to more expensive scales, as the medical assistants at my doctor's offices stopped taking weight measurements about two years ago, when the Wuhan flu struck. The scale also will supposedly give your readings about "Body Fat, Water, Muscle, BMI, Visceral Fat & Bone Mass for Unlimited Users," through the use of their smartphone app according to the makers. I'm pretty sure the other measurements are guestimates, based upon the personal statistics you set up in the app. (As a side note, they want you to go sockless for the measurement, which probably is necessary for some of the prognostications. However, it seems to weigh just fine with socks.) The list of measured items sounds good anyway, although YMMV, based upon your readings. Having the weight recorded in their app is probably also very useful. It certainly is probably better than having to write the weight measurements on paper for comparison over time. I went online and found Inevifit is based out of Santa Barbara, which is a often an indicator that their products may last longer and have better product support so that's something I liked. The label says the item was designed in the US and manufactured in China. Pricing on the standard scale at the time of writing is $39.99, with an extra $3.20 off via a "check this box" for an additional 8% discount. There's also another model rated for up to 400lbs for about $20. This is the model I reviewed, I think this scale is well worth the price, based upon its ease of use, looks and perceived durability. This scale does everything I need.
