this is the first time I've used this shampoo and I washed my dog with it the other night it lathers up really good it is good smelling and it is easy to use and you don't have to use very much to get a good lather out of it I have a smaller dog and he just left getting the bath with it and he smells so good afterwards it is well worth the money you pay for it

Great for its catgory.

I am pleasantly surprised by this shampoo, because my prior experience with Hartz has not been the greatest. I was previously using a lavender 2 in 1 dog shampoo from a semi-premium brand, and it went missing after a move so I had to replace it rather suddenly. I saw this on the shelf and it looked the least allergenic out of several options so I went with it. This is way better than the semi-premium lavender stuff. I like the scent better, and it leaves his coat shinier and easier to comb. He doesn't like it near his personal bits, and I wouldn't put it near his little eyballs, but I use baby shampoo for the mucus membrane areas anyway. For the longer, more dirt-prone hair on the body, this shampoo is excellent for this price category.
