Only tested it out and it seems to work good. Was heating up nice. Interested to see how long the battery will really last. I bought this for my dad who is in a nursing home and is always cold. Nursing homes are not allowed to have heated blankets that plug into the wall. So I figured something battery-operated would be OK.

I purchased this heated vest for my father-in-law. After a recent cancer surgery, he could not stay warm regardless of how many clothes he piled on. He's an avid outdoorsman and loves attending local high school basketball games. He stayed so cold he could not enjoy himself and had started giving up on some activities. When the vest arrived at my house, I made sure it was fully charged (took about 3 hours the first time from 1 LED showing on the level) and we took it to him. He was excited when it started heating up within a few minutes and he could feel how well it covered his back, which is where he's mostly struggling with being cold. He got a bit choked up when he realized that the vest was going to help him. For my father-in-law, the heated vest was much more than a comfort item. This lets him get out and enjoy the things that he loves. It truly helped him both physically and mentally.
