great product

I moved my HD dish 100 feet from the house into my field to get a clear sky away from the trees. I set it up by going back and forth to the house looking at the screen, calling back and forth to my wife etc..... it took forever but I got it working. This past winter, the storms and the high winds blew the dish out of position. I didn't want to go through the same fiasco so I bought this meter. I connected it and had the system tweaked in.........in less than 5 minutes. Love it!

Works well

Nice unit, much better than attempting to find the satellite using on screen prompts and signal strength. I use it for camping and have learned a lot since purchasing.. I can definitely tune in My dish (dish network).. I had some difficulty finding the correct Satellite... A friend told me to cover the outer 2 antenna heads with tinfoil and tune in to satellite 119 that was the best advice anyone had given me... once I have that tuned in pull the tin foil off and 110 and 129 will probably be correct as well (if you set have skew and elevation set correctly) Much smoother setup now. I can peak my portable antenna better than the permanent one I have mounted at home.

Replacement for 3 others before it. We use it when we travel in our RV to set up our Dish. Takes a bit of fiddling with the aim since it brings in satellites other than the ones I need but finders that do that cost a lot. I've been using this type since 1989 for Dish.
