No problems so far but being careful understanding it is a hollow aluminum shaft and full extension does make it weaker. Looking to order a second, was testing one out first. At some point I assume it will break but it was worth the money and what I expected in an extendable paddle. I use it on a 22” pontoon boat in still water to stay in fishing spots so it is being used more than lightly.

Telescoping Paddle

Not too strong if extended - broke on first paddle into water when fully extended. However, very convenient and solid if not extended. (We got two so were not downstream without a paddle!)
